Single-dieline architecture means one structural template produces every variant in a range. Every SKU shares identical corner geometry, stacking height, and shelf footprint. This matters because retailers including Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse enforce dimensional planogram tolerances, and height variation across a range can trigger a delisting review.

For standard retail shelf boxes supplying pharmacy, grocery, and independent retail, 300gsm to 350gsm coated SBS is the most common specification. Products with more than 400g of content, or ranges expected to stack four units high in storage, are often better suited to 400gsm.

The Australian Consumer Law under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 requires that country of origin claims on consumer goods packaging meet the ACCC's substantial transformation and cost-of-production thresholds. Claims that do not meet these thresholds constitute misleading conduct and can result in enforcement action.

Standard turnaround is 10 to 12 business days from artwork approval. A rush option is available in 6 to 8 business days. Turnaround begins once the digital proof is approved, not from the date of enquiry.

The standard options are 300gsm to 400gsm coated SBS, recycled kraft board, and corrugated microflute for heavier products. SBS is the most common choice for pharmacy and grocery because its white coated surface supports high-definition CMYK and Pantone print without dot gain distortion.

Pharmacy planograms typically require a flat, unobstructed barcode panel on one face. Embossing, foil stamping, and heavy lamination textures over the barcode zone can cause scanner misread at point of sale. We review barcode panel placement and finish interaction before artwork is finalised.

Physical prototype sampling is available before full production. This is particularly useful for brands that need to confirm shelf height against a planogram, test barcode scanner clearance, or review how a finish presents under in-store lighting conditions before committing to a larger quantity.
